SAVE EUROPE’S ENDANGERED HERITAGE
Categories: Latest News
On the occasion of Europa Nostra’s 50th anniversary, the Belgium-based rose hybridizer and grower Rosa Mundo decided to honour the mission of the leading European heritage organisation and support its action towards saving Europe’s most threatened monuments and sites with the launch of the Rosa Europa Nostra.
For the sale of every rose, the grower will make a kind donation of €9 to The 7 Most Endangered programme. Initiated by Europa Nostra in partnership with the European Investment Bank Institute in January 2013, this programme will help rescue our common heritage all across Europe. Everyone can contribute to this extraordinary initiative through the purchase of the Rosa Europa Nostra.
This attractive rose bush, also lovingly known as Esprit d’Amour (The Spirit of Love) has been awarded by horticultural experts ‘The Rose of the Year’ Golden Medal in Monza (2012) and the Silver Medal in Kortrijk (2012), and was certified in Paris (2013).
The Rosa Europa Nostra has the pleasant fragrance of wild roses, is loved by bees and easy to care for. With an average height of 140 cm and continued flowering, it is a perfect addition to any garden and a meaningful gift for any occasion.
The price of the rose is €22,50 (VAT included, shipping costs excluded). The rose (on bare root, with all necessary instructions for planting and growing included in the package) may be delivered anywhere in Europe from the first week of November 2013.
